Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Malaysia’s Sabah state in the northern part of the island of Borneo. If you are flying in the best airport to fly into is Kota Kinabalu International Airport.

There is a wide range of accommodation in Kota Kinabalu suitable for all budgets. We would recommend staying in and around the town centre which is very close to the airport which is roughly a 15 mins taxi ride.

The best way to get around will be using Grab ( this is South East Asia’s ‘Uber’) prices are cheap. We will provide details on how to get access to data/cellular connection nearer the time. If you want to brave the roads of Kota Kinabalu and travel around you can also rent a car.

More details of this will be confirmed nearer the time, but we will arrange travel from the city centre to the wedding venue which is around a 40 min drive.

Children and babies are very welcome to join. We will follow up in due course to understand numbers and catering for them.
